Natalie Higgins is someone that I look up to. I hope to someday be as effective a change-maker as she is. Here are some of the reasons that I am casting my vote for Natalie as the next state representative for Leominster.
Natalie and I share the same passion for improving education and preserving the public education system as we know it. She opposes Question 2 and realizes that raising the charter school cap will negatively affect Leominster students. She understands how Leominster is losing $800,000 per year to charters and the importance of investing in the majority of public school students versus the selected few.
The opioid crisis is an epidemic in Leominster. Natalie understands the dire need for wrap-around services for those who seek help only to detox and run back to using again. Our community needs resources and I know Natalie will work tirelessly to bring those services to Leominster.
I admire her. Every time I speak with her, I am amazed at her intelligence and the humility with which she carries herself. She is articulate and well-spoken. She stands up for her beliefs and doesn't "kowtow" to the popular majority.
I believe 100 percent that Natalie would be the best person for the job of state representative for Leominster. She already has years of experience working at the state level and has fostered many valuable relationships that will allow her to make an immediate impact. Please vote Natalie Higgins on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
