NATALIE HIGGINS IN HER RE-ELECTION BID The Massachusetts Organization of State Engineers & Scientists (MOSES) endorsed State Representative Natalie Higgins (D-Leominster) in her re-election campaign in the 4th Worcester District. MOSES is a professional employee union that represents the 3,300 technical, engineering and scientific employees of 29 different agencies of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. “Natalie is a proven leader on Beacon Hill representing the 4th Worcester District,” said Steven Smalley, the Legislative Director of MOSES. “She has been a strong advocate for clean water, air, and a safe and healthy environment. Natalie stands with MOSES supporting adequate funding to maintain our state transportation system and improve the quality of life in the Commonwealth. Her leadership is just what we need during these times.” “Many MOSES members have been on the front-line combatting COVID-19,” said Rep. Natalie Higgins. “They are the microbiologists, epidemiologists, laboratory technicians, and chemists fighting from day one to combat this deadly disease. I am proud to have the support of MOSES and its members in my re-election campaign.” State Representative Natalie Higgins is currently serving her second term as State Representative in the 4th Worcester District, which consists entirely of the city of Leominster. Rep. Higgins is a former nonprofit director and attorney, and has focused on being accessible and available to Leominster residents with early morning and evening office hours. Her priorities in the State House include fighting for high-quality public education from pre-school to college, bringing down the cost of healthcare, supporting working families, and ending sexual and domestic violence. ###

Thanks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools.
