MASS ALLIANCE ENDORSES STATE REP. NATALIE HIGGINS IN HER RE-ELECTION BID
 
Mass Alliance endorsed State Representative Natalie Higgins (D-Leominster) in her re-election campaign in the 4th Worcester District. Mass Alliance is a coalition for political and advocacy organizations that work together to build a progressive Massachusetts. Mass Alliance works to promote a variety of progressive causes, with focuses on Civil Rights, Education, Environmental Protection, Healthcare, and Workers’ Rights.
 
"Mass Alliance is proud to endorse Natalie Higgins for re-election. Rep. Higgins has been one of the more remarkable legislators since she was first elected 4 years ago. She has been a leader in fighting for quality education both K-12 and higher education, protecting the rights of domestic violence victims, and in this time of COVID-19, standing up for the resources workers and small business owners need to get through this crisis,” said Jordan Berg Powers, Executive Director of Mass Alliance. “In these times, we need legislators who are going to be serious about tackling the big issues in front of us. Natalie has been that legislator for Leominster and for all of Massachusetts, which is why we need to send her back to the Statehouse, to continue fighting for all of us,” he continued.

State Representative Natalie Higgins is currently serving her second term as State Representative in the 4th Worcester District, which consists entirely of the city of Leominster. Rep. Higgins is a former nonprofit director and attorney, and has focused on being accessible and available to Leominster residents with early morning and evening office hours. Her priorities in the State House include fighting for high-quality public education from pre-school to college, bringing down the cost of healthcare, supporting working families, and ending sexual and domestic violence.
