LGBTQ Victory Fund Endorses Natalie Higgins in her re-election campaign for State Representative in the 4th Worcester District 
National organization endorses Higgins because she is a strong voice for equality

Leominster, Massachusetts – Today LGBTQ Victory Fund – the only national organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ people to public office – endorsed Natalie Higgins in her re-election campaign for State Representative in the 4th Worcester District. Higgins is one of the seven members of the LGBTQ Caucus in the Massachusetts State Legislature.  

“LGBTQ Victory Fund is pleased to endorse Natalie Higgins for State Representative in the 4th Worcester District,” said Mayor Annise Parker, President & CEO of LGBTQ Victory Fund. “Natalie’s commitment to smart public policy that addresses the real concerns of her constituents makes her the best candidate in this race. When she wins in November, Natalie will continue to be a strong LGBTQ voice for equality in Leominster and the Commonwealth.” 

LGBTQ people remain severely underrepresented in government nationwide – holding just 0.15 percent of elected positions despite representing at least 4.5 percent of the U.S. population, according to Gallup. As an openly LGBTQ leader, Higgins will continue to be an unwavering voice for equality in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Her priorities in the State House are fighting for high-quality public education from preschool to college, bringing down the cost of healthcare, supporting our working families, and ending sexual and domestic violence.
